Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped meat
    1/2 c. rice, uncooked
    1 small onion, diced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 head cabbage
    2 cans tomato soup
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut
Preparation
    Put cabbage in freezer for 2 or 3 days.
    Thaw and pull off leaves.
    (It's easier than boiling.)
    Combine meat, rice, onion, salt and pepper.
    Place tablespoon of mixture on cabbage leaf and roll.
    Place cabbage rolls in saucepan and cover with sauerkraut, soup and water enough to cover rolls.
    Cook over low heat.
    Cooks in 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
