Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    5 c. all-purpose (not sifted) flour
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Knead by hand until it falls off your hands.
    Roll out and cut in 2 x 1-inch strips.
    Prick with fork.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. Turn down to 250\u00b0; check every 10 minutes.
