Southern Style Creamed Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 ears fresh corn
2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. whipping cream
Preparation

Remove husks and silks from corn. Cut corn from cob, scraping cob to remove pulp; set aside. Combine flour, sugar and salt in a small bowl; gradually stir in milk until mixture is smooth. Melt butter in a heavy skillet; add corn, mixing well. Gradually stir in flour mixture; cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes, stirring often. Stir in whipping cream; serve immediately.
