Georgia Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. pecan halves
2 eggs
2/3 stick butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. finely grated orange rind
1 (9-inch) pastry shell
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add salt, beaten eggs, syrup and nuts.
Mix well.
Pour into uncooked pastry shell.
Pecans will float to surface.
Spread these with grated orange rind.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
