100 Year Old German Slaw Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. onion juice or grated onion
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Cook together water and sugar until it spins thread.
    Remove from heat and add vinegar, onion juice or grated onion, salt and celery seed.
    This dressing will keep a month or more in the refrigerator.
    Toss with shredded cabbage to serve.
