Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. self-rising corn meal
1/4 c. self-rising flour
1 medium onion
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. milk

Preparation

Mix
all
ingredients
together well.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Drop by spoonfuls in 375\u00b0 deep fry.
When done, they will float.
Drain on paper towels.
