Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 c. cold water
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup and water to a thread.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture into egg whites, other half, cook until brittle.
    Add nuts and vanilla.
    Beat until it loses its shine.
    Drop by the spoonful onto wax paper.
    Let cool.
