Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 lb. jar mixed fruit
1 can condensed sweetened milk
1 small jar cherries
1 (28 oz.) jar NoneSuch mincemeat
2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Butter a 9-inch tube pan.
Line bottom of pan with waxed paper. Butter the waxed paper.
Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Mix flour and baking soda and sift.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the eggs, mincemeat, mixed fruit and the nuts.
Mix well.
Add the dry ingredients.
Stir well.
Pour into the prepared pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
Invert the pan and cool cake for an hour. Remove from pan and peel off the waxed paper.
Use the small jar of cherries as a garnish for the top of the cake.
