Potatoes A La Good - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes
    1 large onion, grated (optional)
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    10 oz. sharp cheese, grated
Preparation
    Parboil peeled potatoes.
    When cool, slice.
    Season soup with onion, cheese, salt and pepper.
    Put layer of potatoes in casserole.
    Cover with soup mixture.
    Repeat potatoes and soup mixture.
    Be sure to end with soup mixture.
    Dot top with butter and sprinkle with some grated cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 8.
