Egg Bread For Dressing - cooking recipe

2 c. cornmeal
3/4 c. plain flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
1/4 c. cooking oil
Preparation

Heat a 10-inch skillet in a 450\u00b0 oven for 5 minutes.
Combine all dry ingredients and mix.
Gradually add all liquids; mix well with spoon or hand.
Remove skillet from oven and coat with cooking spray.
Pour batter into skillet.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool.
Yields 8 cups crumbled bread crumbs.
