Mushroom Pastries - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
1/2 c. butter or margarine (room temperature)
1 1/2 c. flour
Mushroom Filling
Preparation

Mix cream cheese and butter together thoroughly.
Add flour and mix well.
Will be soft and creamy feeling.
Chill well.
(Can make a day or two ahead of time for use, keep wrapped well.)
Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness on lightly flattened surface, cut with 2-inch to 3-inch biscuit cutter.
Place approximately a teaspoon of filling in center and fold over the dough.
Press edges together with fork and prick top crusts to allow steam to escape.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake until lightly browned, 10 to 15 minutes.
(Pastry is good with preserve filling.)
