Shredded Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 biscuits
    2 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 yeast cake or dry yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    4 to 6 c. flour
Preparation
    Crumble biscuits; add oil, sugar and salt.
    Cover with boiling water; cool.
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Add to wheat mixture.
    Stir in part of flour and turn on floured board.
    Knead until smooth.
    Place in greased bowl; grease top slightly.
    Let stand until double in bulk.
    Shape into 2 loaves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
