Ham-Vegetable Fettucini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. cubed, smoked ham
    2 peeled, chopped carrots
    1 chopped, medium onion
    8 oz. shredded Colby cheese
    8 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1 pkg. fettucini noodles
    1 head broccoli
    1 head cauliflower
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a large pot, boil carrots, chopped broccoli and chopped cauliflower in water; boil until tender-crisp.
    In saucepan, combine ham, onion, milk and cheeses.
    Simmer until cheeses are melted.
    If too thick, add additional milk.
    Drain vegetables and place in mixing bowl.
    Use large pot to boil 3 quarts of water and cook noodles 7 to 8 minutes.
    Drain.
    Add to mixing bowl; cover with meat mixture and stir thoroughly.
    Serve.
