Squash Casserole #2 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

squash, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 small jar pimentos
3/4 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 stick or 1/2 c. margarine
2 Tbsp. onion, grated
1/2 to 1 c. cheese, grated
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Clean yellow squash well and cut into 1/2-inch slices and boil or steam until tender.
Cool slightly, drain and mash.
Add onion, pimentos, cheese, cracker crumbs, egg, butter, milk and salt to taste.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes in greased baking dish.
