Breakfast Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices white bread
    oleo or butter
    1 lb. sausage
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
    6 large or 8 small eggs
    2 c. half and half cream
Preparation
    Remove crust from bread.
    Place in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Set aside.
    Cook sausage until done.
    Brown.
    Drain well. Spoon over bread.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Combine eggs, half and half cream.
    Mix well and pour over cheese. Cover and chill overnight.
    Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake casserole, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until set.
