Cherry Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can water packed red cherries
    1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. enriched flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. broken pecans, lightly floured
Preparation
    Heat cherries and sugar together.
    Add a few drops of red food coloring.
    Pour into 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
    Combine oats, brown sugar, flour and salt; cut in butter.
    Add pecans. Sprinkle mixture over cherries.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream and ice cream.
