Black Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. olive oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. cumin
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
    1 1/2 c. cooked and drained black beans
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    fresh parsley for garnish (if desired)
Preparation
    Heat olive oil.
    Add onion and garlic for 5 minutes, stirring. Add other seasonings.
    Cook, stirring for 1 minute more.
    Add beans and broth and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
