Hero Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14-inch) loaf French or Italian bread (unsliced)
    1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1 tsp. prepared horseradish
    8 oz. (8 slices) Swiss cheese
    8 oz. (8 slices) cooked turkey
    8 oz. (8 slices) Cheddar cheese
    8 oz. (8 slices) cooked ham
    1 green pepper, thinly sliced
    1 large tomato, thinly sliced
    1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
    lettuce leaves
    alfalfa sprouts
Preparation
    Cut bread in half lengthwise.
    In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard and horseradish.
    Spread mayonnaise mixture on both sides of loaf.
    Arrange slices of cheese, meat, green pepper, tomato, onion and lettuce on bottom half of loaf.
    Garnish with alfalfa sprouts.
    Replace top half of loaf.
    Secure with wooden skewers.
    Cut diagonally into slices to serve, or wrap and refrigerate until serving time.
    Makes 8 servings.
