Russian Teacakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. finely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Mix butter, vanilla and sugar well.
    Sift flour and salt; stir in sugar mixture, mix in nuts.
    Chill dough.
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0. Roll dough into 1 inch balls.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
    While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool.
    Roll in sugar again.
    Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
