Elegant "Turkey" Casserole Almondine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. margarine
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, chopped
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. slivered almonds
2 c. soyameat, drained
1 c. coarse bread crumbs
2 cans mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. thyme
4 Tbsp. margarine, melted
Preparation

In a large skillet, saute onions and mushrooms in margarine. Stir in almonds and mushroom soup, soyameat, seasoning and sour cream.
Pour mixture into pastry.
Fold pastry from the pan sides over filling, making a small rolled crust completely around the casserole.
In a small bowl, toss bread crumbs with melted margarine, sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Serves 8.
