Four Hour Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 yeast cakes
    1 c. flour
    1/3 melted shortening
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald and cool milk, add sugar and moistened yeast cakes.
    Add 1 cup flour and beat well.
    Add melted shortening, beaten eggs and salt.
    Add 2 1/2 cups flour and beat well for a few minutes.
    Let rise to double in size and make into rolls.
    Put in refrigerator for future use.
