Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    oil
    powdered sugar (optional)
    Kraft preserves (optional)
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add combined milk and egg, mixing until smooth.
    Holding finger over opening, fill funnel with 1/4 cup of batter.
    Place funnel near hot oil.
    Remove finger and pour batter into oil using a circular motion to form a spiral.
    Fry until golden brown, turning once.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar or serve with preserves.
