Chicken Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small fresh hen
    2 c. self-rising flour
    approximately 1/2 c. warm water
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 stick margarine
Preparation
    Boil chicken and save broth.
    Slowly mix water with flour to make a smooth ball.
    Place ball on floured surface and roll out flat.
    Have broth boiling.
    Cut dough into short strips and place a few at a time into boiling broth.
    Stir to keep from sticking. Add chicken soup and milk.
    Continue to stir.
    Add margarine and stir.
    Reduce heat and cook 10 minutes. (Watch carefully; dumplings will stick to bottom of pan.)
