Apple Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 c. flour
    1 egg, separated
    6 to 8 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. water
    sugar to sprinkle
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine butter, cream cheese and egg yolk. Beat until smooth.
    Add flour and mix well.
    Chill.
