Creole Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 bay leaf, crushed
    1/4 c. diced celery
    1 tsp. minced parsley
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    dash of cayenne pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 1/2 c. water
    2 c. cooked shrimp (two 7 oz. cans)
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Blend in rest of ingredients except shrimp.
    Cook slowly, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes. Stir in shrimp and heat.
    Serve on hot cooked rice.
