Mom'S Granola - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon, rounded
    1 c. honey
    2 c. crushed bran flakes or more
    3 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine oatmeal, brown sugar and cinnamon in very, very large stainless
    steel
    bowl.
    Add
    the bran flakes, honey and vanilla. If
    using
    regular
    oatmeal, sprinkle 1 cup of water all over the mixture.
    Stir well before baking.
    Bake at a low heat for 1 hour, stirring thoroughly every 15 minutes.
    If not using stainless steel bowl,
    pour
    into
    a
    baking
    pan before baking!
