Wild Rice And Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
1 c. Uncle Ben's long grain wild rice
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. cream
3 c. chicken, boiled and diced
1/2 c. diced pimento
2 Tbsp. minced parsley
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. slivered, blanched almonds
Preparation

Prepare rice as directed.
Drain mushrooms; reserve liquid. Saute onion in butter until transparent.
Stir in flour, chicken broth, mushroom liquid and cream, stirring constantly, cooking until thick.
Add all ingredients except almonds.
Mix well. Place in baking dish.
Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
