Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (10) and 1 can (5) Butter-Me-Not biscuits
    8 cooking apples (Golden Delicious)
    2 sticks \"I Can't Believe It's Not Butter\"
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. warm water
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Melt butter in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Peel apples and cut in half. Remove the core.
    Wash and lay aside to drain.
    Roll biscuits thin; place half apple, round side down, on biscuit and sprinkle cinnamon on flat side of apple.
    Pull dough up around apple and place flat side down in pan of melted butter.
    Dissolve sugar in warm water and slowly pour around dumplings.
    (Do not pour on top of dumplings.) Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Baste dumplings after baking 20 minutes.
    It is best to prepare all of the dumplings before putting in the pan of melted butter.
