Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. boiling water
    1 c. oatmeal
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1 stick margarine (1/4 lb.)
    3 eggs
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/3 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pour the boiling water over the oatmeal and let stand 20 minutes until cool. Cream together the sugars, margarine and eggs. Sift the flour, cinnamon, soda and salt together.
    Add all together and add the vanilla; beat.
    Bake in loaf or 13 x 9-inch pan for 35 minutes in a
    325\u00b0 or 350\u00b0 oven.
