Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. finely shredded American or Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Prepare elbow macaroni according to package directions; drain. Melt butter in medium saucepan.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Blend in milk.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
    Combine macaroni and sauce mixture; mix well.
    Stir in cheese.
    Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
    Dot with butter. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until hot, 20 to 25 minutes.
    If desired, broil until lightly browned before serving.
    Yields 4 servings.
