Taco Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
    El Paso taco sauce (hot or mild)
    1 small onion
    1/2 head lettuce
    12 oz. shredded cheese (mild Colby or Longhorn)
    tomatoes (optional)
Preparation
    Spread layer of sour cream.
    Put taco sauce over sour cream. Cut up onion finely.
    Spread over taco sauce.
    Spread cheese over onion layer.
    Put on lettuce.
    Serve with Cool Ranch Doritos.
