Microwave Cheesy Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c peeled potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
    1 1/2 c fresh broccoli flowerets
    1 c thinly sliced carrot
    1/4 chopped onion
    1/2 t minced garlic
    1/8 t pepper
    1/4 c water
    1 3/4 c milk
    1-16 oz can kidney beans, drained
    1-10 3/4 oz can cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
    1 c cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 t hot pepper sauce or to taste
Preparation
    Put potatoes, broccoli, carrot, onion, garlic, pepper and water in a 3 quart microwave safe bowl.
    Cover with lid or vented plastic wrap.
    Microwave on high 8-10 minutes, stirring once, until vegetable are crisp-tender.
    Add milk, beans and soup. Cover and microwave on high 6-8 minutes, stirring once, until vegetables are tender.
    Add cheese and hot pepper sauce, stirring until cheese is melted.
    Serve hot.
