Chuck Roast Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3-1/2 lb. chuck roast 2 inches thick
    6 med. potatoes, peeled and cut in halves
    3 or 4 small onions
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. cheese, grated
Preparation
    Trim fat from meat and place in large baking pan.
    Roast at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and spoon off fat.
    Arrange potatoes and onions around roast.
    Pour soup over all.
    Cover and bake 2 hours more or until meat and potatoes are tender.
    Sprinkle with cheese and bake until cheese melts.
