Ingredients

1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. chopped pecans
1 c. flour (all-purpose)
1/3 c. melted butter
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. milk or cream
1 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients until like meal.
Reserving 1 cup of mixture, spread in an 8-inch buttered square pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Put cream cheese in mixing bowl.
Beat together with sugar, egg, lemon juice, milk and vanilla.
Pour over cooked crust; sprinkle remaining crust mixture over top of cream cheese mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
When cool, cut into squares.
