Pesto Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
    2 c. fresh basil leaves, firmly packed
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 Tbsp. pine nuts or almonds
    2 cloves fresh garlic
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in blender or food processor.
    Puree. Serve over hot pasta or fettuccini noodles.
    Do not cook pesto or it will turn very dark.
    Can be frozen and sliced off as needed for smaller amounts.
