Sweet Potato Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box 4X powdered sugar
1/2 stick margarine
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 to 1/2 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled (baked or boiled)
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except the peanut butter, into a dough. (Add a little extra 4X sugar to stiffen the dough, if needed.) Roll out the dough 1/4-inch thick on to a floured surface.
Spread the peanut butter evenly over the rolled-out dough.
Start at one end and roll it over like a jelly roll.
Cut into slices approximately 1/2-inch wide.
Let set until slices are firm.
