Twenty-Four Hour Fruit Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can fruit cocktail
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
1 (20 oz.) can white cherries
3 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
dash of salt
1 Tbsp. butter
1 can Mandarin oranges
1/4 c. maraschino cherries, halved
2 Tbsp. pineapple juice
1 c. whipping cream
2 c. small marshmallows
Preparation

Drain all fruit well.
Beat egg yolks; add vinegar, pineapple juice, salt, sugar and butter.
Cook, stirring constantly until thickens and coats spoon (about 10 minutes).
Cool to warm, then pour over fruit and marshmallows.
Mix gently.
Fold in whipping cream.
Chill 24 hours.
