Frank'S Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bacon, diced
2 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 c. onion, chopped
1 c. green pepper, chopped
6 cloves garlic, minced
6 lb. 9 oz. tomatoes
18 oz. tomato paste
1 c. red wine
4 tsp. oregano
4 tsp. basil
1/2 c. parsley
2 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf, crumbled
2 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 c. water (in place of the wine)
Preparation

Cook bacon in 6-quart pan until brown.
Set aside, draining all but 1 to 2 tablespoons grease from pan.
Brown ground beef, discarding fat.
Stir in onions, green pepper and garlic.
Cook 10 minutes.
