Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 stick oleo
5 egg yolks
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. coconut
5 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream sugar, Crisco and oleo.
Add egg yolks, flour, soda, buttermilk and coconut.
Beat egg whites, then fold into the rest of the mixture.
Add vanilla and salt.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool and ice.
This recipe will serve 8 people.
