Cheesey Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1 small onion
    1/2 lb. cheese (Velveeta)
    2 or 3 dashes pepper
    2 or 3 dashes garlic salt
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Peel and dice potatoes. Rinse when finished. Put in big pot. Cover with clean water, just enough to cover potatoes. Add pepper, garlic salt and onion. Place on medium heat until potatoes are tender (about 20 minutes). Turn heat to low and add milk and cheese. Stir often. Serve when cheese is melted.
