Hummingbird Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. chopped bananas
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl.
Add eggs and oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
Do not beat.
Stir in vanilla, pineapple, pecans and bananas.
Spoon batter into 3 greased and floured round cake pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until pick comes clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove and cool completely.
Spread with a cream cheese frosting between layers and on top and sides of cake. Sprinkle with pecans if desired.
