Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. quick or old fashioned oats (uncooked)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips or raisins
Preparation

Combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Cream butter and sugars. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Alternate the dry ingredients and pumpkin to butter and sugar mixture. Mix well. Add raisins or chocolate chips. Bake (one-fourth cup cookie dough for each cookie on greased cookie sheets) 20 to 25 minutes until firm and light brown.
