Brown Beef In Beer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew beef
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 can beer
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 pkg. mushroom gravy mix
Preparation
    Brown beef in butter.
    Add beer, basil, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
    Stir in gravy.
    Mix and cook 5 to 7 minutes.
    Serve with hot, cooked egg noodles.
