Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 oz. red food coloring
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Beat sugar and shortening until smooth; add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Mix flour, salt and cocoa together; add to mixture.
    Add milk, coloring and vanilla; mix well.
    Add soda on top of batter; pour vinegar on soda and mix with fork.
    Divide batter in 2 cake pans that have been greased and floured.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Ice with Cream Cheese Frosting.
