Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix, baked
    2 (12 oz.) containers Cool Whip
    2 pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 box instant vanilla pudding
    6 bananas
    2 cans drained crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions on box.
    Break cake into 1-inch chunks and layer bottom of punch bowl.
    Sprinkle 1/3 box of pudding.
    Make a layer of crushed pineapple, sliced bananas, strawberries (semi-drained), Cool Whip and nuts.
    Repeat layers 3 or 4 times.
    Add a cherry on top.
    Assemble cake a couple hours before serving.
