Hamburg Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburg
    1 chopped onion
    1 can diced carrots
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. diced potatoes
    2 to 3 Tbsp. flour, dissolved in 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    In a large kettle, scramble the hamburg and onion in a little oil.
    Add carrots and cover with water.
    Cook 15 minutes.
    Lastly add diced potatoes and simmer for 1 hour more.
    Thicken with flour and water or water and cornstarch.
