Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. dark or light brown sugar
    7 pineapple rings
    maraschino cherries
    1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix
Preparation
    Melt butter, sugar and 2 tablespoons pineapple syrup in oven. Remove and arrange pineapple rings and cherries in pan.
    Prepare batter as directed on cake package.
    Pour over mixture in pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until tests done.
    Let cool 5 minutes in pan.
    Invert on serving plate and allow 2 to 3 minutes before removing pan.
    Serve warm.
