Stuffed Broiled Avocados(A Hot Side Dish.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sliced scallions
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, chopped and drained
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs, divided
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    6 ripe avocados (unpeeled)
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
Preparation
    Saute scallions in olive oil; reduce heat.
    Add tomatoes and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add 1/4 cup bread crumbs, mix and set aside.
