Honey Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. whole wheat flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 pkg. regular or quick acting yeast
    2 1/4 c. warm water (120~ to 130~)
    1/3 c. honey
    1/4 c. shortening
    3 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Mix whole wheat flour, salt and yeast in large bowl.
    Add water, honey and shortening; heat on low for 1 minute, scraping bowl.
    Beat on medium for 1 minute, scraping bowl again.
    Stir in remaining flour, 1 cup at a time, until easy to handle.
    Turn dough onto floured surface; knead 10 minutes until smooth.
    Place in greased bowl; cover to let rise in warm place.
    When doubled in size, punch down and divide into 2 loaf pans.
    Allow to rise again.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
