Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
2 c. crisp dry cereal (Rice Krispies, Wheaties, etc.)
1 c. coconut, chocolate chips or raisins
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and flavoring. Gradually add flour, baking powder and salt mixture.
Fold in dry cereal and coconut, chips or raisins.
Roll in small balls and place on buttered cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
